The Origins of Farmacia Ramirez de Diego go back at the beginning of century XX in Soto del Barco (Asturias).



The first Chemyst Ramirez was inaugurated by D. Buenaventura Ramirez Merino. From D. Buenaventura people says that he was a person given to his work. A person with great vocation by its profession. Of those people who enjoyed preparing in old mortar compoundings for their clients, after their sudden death, ran Chemyst their wife Dª Rosaura Sanchez until their children finished the race.



The family still conserves at the present time the albarelos that were used at the beginning of century in the pharmacy.

Fruit of this ancestry, Farmacia Ramirez de Diego, C.B, is run at the present time by the Lda. Covadonga Ramirez and the Ldo. Martin Ramirez from year 1999.
